Dengan metode halogen drying, keuntungan yang didapat adalah sample tidak akan terbakar permukaannya karena dipanaskan dari bagian atas, memiliki akurasi yang tinggi, dan memiliki program drying yang bervariasi (soft drying, standard drying, drying in levels, rapid drying (boost).
